Adornment is seeing language, touch, sense care, propagation, belief specific, love, connection. We adorn our fleshy bodies, sense our nimble feet crossed sandy shores. Decorated neckbones and fingerprinted pads of fingers on collar bones. Our body gifts are leaves, seeds, beads, stones, metal, fiber and horns. The long anthropological conversation between ourselves and a human awakening to a consciousness of our aliveness that we are in fact inside of a stardust body. Let it go on...let it be.
This piece is a part of a series I am currently working on called "The Seed Project". Specifically, this image is a seed, a type of otherwordly seed that is growing from some small thing. It's wild like wild flowers and things that spring up out of nowhere and seem to disappear but never do, like one of life's building blocks.
